American Baptist Men Mission:
Bring men and boys to the saving relationship with Jesus Christ through mentoring, instruction, and serving.
American Baptist Men in action:
- The FBC ABMen collected cleaning supplies for the flood victims this year.
- The FBC ABMen provided supper for Midland students on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 6 p.m.
Bible Study:
- First Saturday of each month we have a breakfast at 7am for a meeting/planning session and bible study at The Coffee Pot restaurant.
:Other Activities:
- We are active in Promise Keepers and manage two scholarship funds. One is to allow money for first time participants, and the other one is for someone who cannot afford the registration fee. These scholarships are in memory of two ABM members: Cecil Weldon and Myron Bergerson.
- The men also organize the annual pancake breakfast. We furnish all items and take a freewill offering. We also plan the annual summer picnic and furnish hamburgers, hot dogs, polish sausage, drinks, and buns. The picnic is free when you bring your favorite salad, covered dish, or dessert.
- We have projects around the church: yard clean up, special cleaning inside the church, and other duties the pastor calls us to do.
